Oris Big Crown Pointer Date is a modern aviation timepiece that manages to successfully demonstrate the watch making traditions of the company. It is equipped with Oris 584, a modification of ETA 2688/2671. The movement performs 28 800 vibrations per hour and has 17 bearing jewels. A 38-hour power reserve is available for the convenience of the wearer. Hands and markers are luminous for improved night time visibility. A separate hand and a scale around the outer rim of the dial provide information about the current date.
